In the sacred silence of farewell, Tommy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Tommy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe David Storey and Josephine Carruth Storey. He is survived by: his brother Kevin Derell Storey; his stepdaughter Precious Danielle Hill; his nephews, Kevin Derell Storey, Jr. (Nikesha) and Victor Cortez Storey; his niece Kayla Storey; and his uncle Sammy Carruth. He is also survived by great nephews/nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
Beyond his role as Sheriff, Tommy also made significant contributions to law enforcement as the first Black Arson Investigator.
