He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Iola Dickerson and Robert Jewell Dickerson; his wife Hazel Besinger Dickerson; his son Michael Dickerson; his granddaughter Candy Mauney; and his sister Vernice Seawright.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Davis (Ellis) of Falkner, MS, Karen Robbins (Buddy) of Ripley, MS, Anita O'Bryant (Derrick) of Columbus, MS, Sonya Dickerson (Joey Norris) of Falkner, MS and Dwayne Dickerson (Amanda Swindle) of Falkner, MS; and his grandchildren, Shauna Bridges, Heather Pannell, Brandy Puentes, Amber Patterson, Kara Woods, Jana Byrd and Madison Dickerson. He is also survived by eleven great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McBride Funeral Home, Inc. (206 N Commerce St, Ripley, MS 38663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
