James leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. James’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his father Jim Nan Keenan; his brother John Keenan; and his niece Tina Bonner. He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his children, Chris Knotts (Allyson) and Kaci Scoggins (Andy); his sister Eleanor Sims; his nieces, Kary Sims and Kate Covich (Sean); and his nephew Lyle Keenan (Tina). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wesley Independent Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at the Twistwood Cemetery.
