He is survived by: his children, James Mark Godfrey (Kim), Benjamin Drew Godfrey (Manell) and Connie Jo Granger (Ed); and his siblings, Carol Blaine (Mac), Arlis "Red" Godfrey, Mary, Jo, Martha Vance and Patricia Fleming.
