She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Ellen Jones Vanhoozer and Ernest Vanhoozer; her husband Chuck McCollum; her grandson John Dalton Carter; and her siblings, Shannon Frances and John Ellis Vanhoozer.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Vander Carter (Becky), Scott Ellis Carter, David Edwin Carter (Tammy), Timothy Wayne Carter, Tamara Carter Leech (Bill) and Ronnie McCandless; and her brother Eston Vanhoozer.
