Martha May Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha May of Saltillo, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha May to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Baxter Davis, Sr. and Mary Inez Dallas Davis; her husband Freddie Martin May; her siblings, John Davis, Don Davis, Hardee Davis and Lila Duffy; and her daughter-in-law Ann May.

She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Dow May of Saltillo and Nicky Alan May of Caledonia; her grandchildren, Alice Elizabeth May of Saltillo and John Michael Parker of Nashville, Tennessee; and her sister Linda Frye. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pegues Funeral Directors - Saltillo (280 Mobile St, Saltillo, MS 38866). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House in her memory at P.O. Box 2177, Tupelo, Mississippi 38803.
