She was predeceased by: her parents, Isom Parker and Lizzie Parker; her husband E. M. "Pat" Patterson; and her great great grandchild Charlotte Jase Gardner. She is survived by: her children, Shelia Patterson and Todd Patterson (Marla); her grandchildren, Brandi Monaghan, Cassie Dial Leathers (Eric), Jake Patterson (Jessie Carolyn) and Abby Patterson; her sister Peggy Ryan; her great grandchildren, Seth Wade, Landon Gardner, Hunter West, Patrick Dial, John Maddox Monaghan, Chase Dial and Gauge Leathers; E. M. "Pat" Patterson, Shelia and Todd. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Saltillo – Ruth Patterson gained her angel wings peacefully, in her sleep, after a lengthy battle with Dementia and Parkinson's Disease on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, at the age of 86.
