She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur B. Smith and Verda V. Smith (Brewer); her husband Richard Hoyt Walley; her siblings, Ronald W. Smith and Verda Boyce Smith; and her son Dr. Robin H. Walley.
She is survived by: her brother Boyd Smith (Dot Smith); her daughter Denna Shane Graham (Steve Graham); her grandchildren, Samuel Graham (Corinne Graham), Richmond Walley (Elizabeth Walley), Kristen Pemberton (Jonathan Pemberton), Claire Walley and Lauren Stringer (Drew Stringer); and her friend Jessica Wallace (Joseph Wallace). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Sand Hill (24439 MS-42, Richton, MS 39476).
