He is survived by: his wife Debbie Thompson; his children, Nikki Thompson Massey (Craig), Leigh Ann Thompson Carl (Jeff) and Raymond "Ray" Thompson, Jr. (Sarah); his stepchildren, Angela Newby (Alan), Rodger Jordan and Nick McGreger (Chelsea); his siblings, Glenda Gookin and Kenneth Thompson (Renee); and his grandchildren, Ali-Grace Runyon (Zach), Cameron Massey (Ali) and Trey Thompson. He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren, and 6 step great grandchildren.
