He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russell Bobinger and Angeline Tolar Watson; his stepfather Robert Watson; his brothers, William Russell Bobinger, Jr. and Kenneth Fred Bobinger; his grandparents, Clyde and Pearl Tolar; and his stepbrother Robert Watson, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn H. Bobinger; his son Jason David Bobinger (Alison); his grandchildren, Seth David Bobinger and Aubrey Marie Bobinger; his brother Clyde Lawrence "Larry" Bobinger (Beverly); his stepsister Vickie Faye Bingham (Roger); and his sister-in-law Karla Bobinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends and neighbors.
