She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Phillips, and Alice Phillips, Sr.; her son Louis Carroll, Sr.; her siblings, Phil Phillips Jr., Richard Phillips and Linda Phillips; and her great great grandchildren, Kennedy and Emory Kahl.
She is survived by: her husband George Carroll, Sr.; her children, George Carroll, Jr. (Stacy) and Leslie Bates (Eddie); and her grandchildren, Brandon Bates (Christine), Kimberly Burton (Dusty), Christopher Carroll (Taylor), Brittany Trosclair (Steve), Louis Carroll, Jr. (Katie), Brandie Hopkins (Chase), Cody Carroll (Monica) and Braxton Bates. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
