He was predeceased by: his parents, Pamela Diane Clark and Jimmy Ray Hester, Sr.; and his nephew Jimmy Ray Hester, III. He is survived by: his children, Caleb Tanner, Gregory, Jr., Destinee and Deziree Hester; his granddaughter Liliana Tanner; and his siblings, Tina Trujillo, Dorothy Schmelzer, Jimmy, Jr., Mark and Austin Hester.
