Jackie Powell Monk, age 66, of Saucier, passed away, free of pain in her daughter's arms, on December 11, 2016 She was preceded in death by her father, John "Jack" Powell, a son, Ronnie Powell, former spouse, Tommy Powell, Sr, a step-son, Tommy Powell, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Roy Monk, a daughter, Prissy Powell, son, Rodney Powell, son, Reggie Powell, step-children, Lance Monk, Kenny Powell, Kurt Powell, and Sandy Powell-Horne, her mother, Maudie Wisniewski, 4 sisters, Carmen McDonald, Debbie McCaffrey, Diane Rika, and Geena Plumbley, 1 granddaughter, Brooke Powell, a great-grandson, Channing Powell, and other relatives and friends.

She enjoyed traveling and enjoyed her time working as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Monk enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
