He was predeceased by: George T. Sorey. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Sorey; his sons, Matthew and Benjamin Sorey; his siblings, Nelda Tyree and Charles Ray Sorey (Susan); Harold and Katie Chastain. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Wolf Funeral Services - Lake Get (136 Front St, Lake, MS 39092). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Hopewell Baptist Cemetery.
