He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Ware and Maude Ware; and his former wife Irene McMillan Haralson Ware. He is survived by: his wife Sue McDill Jones Ware; his sister Joan Gilmore; his children, Jill Ware LaShea, Eddie Ware (Angela) and April Haralson; and his grandchildren, Haven Hudson, Chalis Hudson, Zoe Hudson, Anna Ware and Samantha Ware.

Charles was widely known for his contributions to the apparel manufacturing industry.
