He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Harrison Lofton and Dorothy Johnston Lofton; his son Kevin Wade Lofton; and his grandson Kristopher Keith Lofton. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Byrd Lofton; his children, Keith Lofton (Cathy) and Kendall M. Lofton (Peggy); his sister Hilda Lofton Stephens; his grandchildren, Wendi McLendon (Mitch) and Jacob Lofton; his stepgrandsons, Ryan Micklos (Heather) and Matt Micklos (Elyssa); and his great grandchild Brycen McLendon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
