He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bud Ellis and Palmae Sanford Ellis; and his siblings, Charles Mooney, Ralph Mooney, Willie Ellis, Jr., Doyle Ellis and Wanda Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Deas Ellis; his children, Michael Ellis (Terri) and Elizabeth Jean Ellis of Seminary; his grandchildren, Joseph Ellis (Kateryna) of Chandler, Candace Henderson (Matt) of Sumrall, Jonna Saucier (Aaron) of Seminary, Aaron Ivy of Seminary, Misty Rose Ivy of Seminary and Deidra Danielle Ivy of Seminary; and his brother Billy Wayne Ellis of Seminary.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bullock Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
