He was predeceased by: his wife Peggy Lorene Pirtle; his parents, Fredie Pirtle and Birtie Ridgeway; and his siblings, Paulette Fuller, Larry Pirtle and Jerry Pirtle.
He is survived by: his children, DeDe Dalton (Shae), Chuck Pirtle (Ginny), Marty Pirtle (Danyel) and Mike Pirtle. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Senatobia Memorial Cemetery (3000 US-51, Senatobia, MS 38668).
