With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald W. Rose of Senatobia, Mississippi, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald W. Rose to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel "Red" Rose and Irene Rose; his brother Darrell Rose; and his grandson James Daniel Smith. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wages Rose; his daughters, Cindy Rose Pipkin (Keith) and Renee Rose Smith (Andy); his brother David Rose; his grandchildren, Taylor Leigh Pipkin, Jessica Ann Smith, Gabrielle Elaine Pipkin, Nathan Ray Smith (Cheyenne) and Justin Lawrence Smith; and his great grandchild Wesley Ray Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Looxahoma Baptist Church (808 Lyles Rd, Senatobia, MS 38668). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Looxahoma Baptist Church.
