He was predeceased by : his brothers, Steve Brewer and Donald Brewer. He is survived by : his wife Sue Brewer; his son Hugh Brewer (Shari); his sisters, Betty Jones and Doris Spence; his grandchildren, Ryan Brewer, Kyle Brewer, Ashley Grove, David Brewer and Taylor Burford; and his great grandchildren, Theodore and Eloise Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Senatobia First United Methodist Church.
