We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2025, at the age of 97, Elmer Whitehearst Massey of Senatobia, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Elmer Whitehearst may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elmer Whitehearst touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Massey and Louise Massey; his wife Billie Holder Massey; and his granddaughter Lauren Bruister. He is survived by: his children, Anita Massey Guyer (David) of Hernando, MS, Mary Massey of Starkville, MS and James Massey of Senatobia, MS; and his sister Vyonne Massey Mynatt. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Senatobia Methodist Church where he was a member.
