With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenda Richardson (Senatobia, Mississippi), who passed away on October 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Glenda had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Glenda may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Richardson; and her parents, Elva Sanford McNemar and Curtis McNemar. She is survived by: her children, Adrian Overall (Ann) of Pleasant Grove and Lisa Pittman (Tommy) of Teasdale; her stepchildren, Don Richardson (Rell) of Carrollton, MS and Jennifer Hays (Cliff) of Kosciusko; and her sisters, Billie Parker (late Jimmy) and Bonita Gibson (Tommy) of Huntsville. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Peach Creek Baptist Church (3107 Parks Place Rd, Como, MS 38619).
Although Alzheimer's robbed her of the words of many of her cherished hymns, she never failed to ask about Peach Creek Church as it held a beloved place in her heart.
