He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Jean and Odell Hovas; and his siblings, Martha Andrews and Micheal Hovas. He is survived by: his children, Alicia Dunigan (Kevin) and Jamie Hovas (Jamie Lynn); his sisters, Margie Rutherford, Linda Crum (Tommy) and Terri Buck (Ted); and his grandchildren, Abby Dunigan, Carly Dunigan, Parker Dunigan, Jasmine Hovas, Jaiden Hovas and Connor Hovas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
