With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Mitchell Charlton of Senatobia, Mississippi, born in DeKalb, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his grandson Billy Holman; his parents, Malcolm Charlton and Johnnie-Bell Charlton; and his siblings, Wendell Charlton and Gail Marie Charlton.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Charlton; his son Jeff Charlton Michael Edmond (Barbara); his sister Maxine Charlton-Turner; his sibling's children, Billy Riggs, Bobby Riggs Nick Tucker, Scott Tucker, Wendy Priscilla, Monica Lynn, Melissa Gail and Tara Turner-Coleman; his grandson Robert-Mitchel Charlton; and his great grandchildren, Jon-Karter Farrow, Ellis Farrow, Captain Liam Jack Farrow, Aurora West, Arya Vazquez and Lilith Barr.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
