He was predeceased by: his wife Annette Wilborn; his parents, Mary Irene Watts and H. Stroupe; and his siblings, Mary Claire Puryear (Harry), James Stroupe (Helen), Frank Watts Stroupe (Jerry) and George Kenneth Stroupe.
He is survived by: his children, Julianna Stroupe Davis (Dale) of Oxford, MS and Robert Ira Stroupe, Jr. (Ella) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Jewel Lincoln (William), Jacki Stroupe, Robert Ira Stroupe III, Kendal Davis and Corporal Ian Davis; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Sam and Kate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Senatobia Church of Christ where he was a member.
