He was predeceased by : his parents, James Fike and Dorothy Walker Fike; his sister Sandy Fike; his grandparents, Ronald, Bessie Walker, Rufus and Jennie Sample Fike; and his brother-in-law Bennie Smith.

He is survived by : his siblings, James Fike (Becky), Billy Fike (Gloria), Charlotte Whittington (Larry), Jeannie Smith (Bennie), Peggy Lawson (Bryant), Carolyn Quade (Donald) and Belinda Hall (Alan). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
