He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Whiting of Spring and James Whiting of Memphis; his sisters, Daisy Mitchell and Caroline White; and his brothers-in-law, John Whiting of Atlanta, GA and Eugene Whiting of Horn Lake, MS..
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at the Mt. Level M. B. Church Cemetery (3126 Mt Level Rd, Como, MS 38619).
