It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tommy Lynn Murphree (Senatobia, Mississippi), who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Deborah Murphree; his parents, Raymon Murphree and Louise Murphree; his brother Raymon Murphree, Jr.; his son Tracy Murphree; and his grandchildren, Kayla Murphree Black and Matthew Howe.

He is survived by : his children, Todd Murphree, Mandy Howe (Linn), Dana Sookraj (Carl), Tonya Murphree (Chad) and Jonathan Murphree; his grandchildren, Dustin Murphree, Shane Murphree (Michelle), Chelsea Murphree (Chris), Shelby Howe, Joe Murphree, Leea Daniel, Jeremiah Sookraj, Lilly Murphree, Beau Daniel, Emma Sookraj, AJ Sookraj and Charles Edward Lane; his sister Cathy O'Bannon (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Janice Houston, Kay Whaley (Jeff), Cathy Gross, Wanda Gross, Hazel Gross Nelson and Thomas Gross (Debbie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pate-Jones Funeral Home (4174 Hwy 51 S, Senatobia, MS 38668). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
