He was predeceased by : his father Leon Wright; his siblings, Martha Chapman and Lawrence Wright; and his son Michael Shea Wright. He is survived by : his wife Jo Wright; his children, Teresa Stone and Marty Wright; his grandchildren, Phillip Stone, Amanda Stone and Tiffany Sanchez (Jose); and his great grandchildren, Parker Williams, Leilani Sanchez and Luke Sanchez.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at the Senatobia Memorial Cemetery (3000 US-51, Senatobia, MS 38668).
