He is survived by : his wife Carlan; his close friend Carlan Grant Bratton; his grandchildren, Brooke Shoup (Chris), Brandon Ethridge (Audrey), Wesley Ethridge (Haley), Blake Ethridge, AJ Bratton (Abby), Spencer Bratton, Will Ethridge (Marissa), Loxley Ethridge, Mace Ethridge, Lidden Ethridge, Rebekah Ivy, Nick Rainey and Chris Lewis (Allison); and his great grandchildren, Ansley Shoup, Bella Grace Shoup, Lilly Dru Shoup, Brent Ryals, Brooks Ethridge, Bradlee Anne Ethridge, Ellie Kate Ethridge, Annie Rose Ethridge, William Tate Ethridge, Baby Hudson Ethridge, Baby Sutton Grace, Jack Silas Ivy, Hazel Ivy, Presley Rainey and Dawson Rainey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo (5281 Cliff Gookin Blvd, Tupelo, MS 38801). A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 6:00 AM.
