He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cayson and Avis Hinton Cayson; and his father-in-law James "Cliff" Parker. He is survived by: his wife Debora Parker Cayson; his children, Matthew Cayson (Sarah) of Alaska and Anna Catherine Cayson of Saltillo; his sister Sheila Greenup (Kyle) of Clint, Texas; his stepgrandchild Fiona; his sister-in-law Norma Jean Estes (Kenneth) of Saltillo; and his mother-in-law Opal Parker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pegues Funeral Directors (535 W Jefferson St, Tupelo, MS 38804). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sherman Cemetery.
