He is survived by: his children, William Everette James of Quitman, MS, Milton L. Logan of Shubuta, MS and Melissa Manasco (Jimmy) of Shubuta, MS; and his grandchildren, Everette James, Christina James, Dillion James, Jada James, Jeremy James, Joey Mozingo, Jessica Roberson, Jonathan Bryant, Travis Logan, Duke Logan, Brittany Logan and Lil Bud Logan. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Rest Cemetery.
