She was predeceased by: her parents, Thompson Barlow and Lille Mae Hendrick Barlow; her son Louis Anderson Bounds, Jr.; and her grandson Lewis E. Rickman (Trey). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Louis Andy Bounds of Shuqulak, MS; her daughters, Charlotte Rickman (Rick) and Rebecca Jones (Ben); her grandsons, Tyler Jones and Carson Rickman; and her sisters, Charlotte Farthling, Emma Lee, Dorothy, Mary Jane (Jerry) and Patsy Burks (Smitty). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Shuqualak Baptist Church (7110 Line St, Shuqualak, MS 39361). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Childrens Village, P.O. Box 27, Clinton, MS 39060.
