He was predeceased by: his parents, John App and Geneva Dixon Ward; his wife Mamie Letchworth Ward; and his siblings, Hilton, Herman, Hurston, Kenneth, Kyle Ward and Carlene Ward Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Ward Robbins of Monticello, John William Ward (Cecile) of Silver Creek and Beverly Kaye Ward Sanders (Monty) of Silver Creek; his grandchildren, Warren Lee Robbins (Michelle), Robert Seth Sanders (Lacey), Wesley Taylor Sanders (Regan), Robert William Ward and Kathryn Claire Ward; his great grandchildren, App, Rhys, Lane, Millie, Grayson Sanders, Whitney Worley (Charles) and Brandon Paille (Alexis); his great great grandchild Jasper Worley; his sister Jewell Ward Nelson; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
