He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Elisha and Mary Heathcock Buffington; his wife Frankie Buffington; his brother Roland Buffington; and his son Clay Buffington.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Kaelyn Louise Barnes; his brother Glenn Buffington (Connie) of Haslet, TX; his children, Tony Buffington (Christina) of Hattiesburg, Stanley Buffington of Union Church, Chris Buffington, Sr. of Hattiesburg and Bridgette Strange (Kenneth) of Gulfport; and his grandchildren, Ramona Neal (Jody) of Silver Creek and DeeDee Barnes (Bo) of Silver Creek. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 4 bonus grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 11 bonus great-grandchildren.
