With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Valentine of Smithdale, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 68. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilfrid Bourgeois and Bette Jo Valentine; her adoptive parent T. F. Valentine; her children, Josh Spring (Jessica) of Bogue Chitto, Justin Spring (Sarah) of McCall Creek and Traci Spring (James McNeil) of Smithdale; her stepson Jamie Spring (Ashely) of McCall Creek; her grandchildren, Dillon, Jackson, Dakota, Hayden, Chase, Madelyn, Marina, Brice, Isabella, Levi, Zoey and Abygail Spring; and her siblings, Melanie Turner (Tim), Misti Youel (Jeff) and Truman Valentine. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Methodist Church (4596 Bogue Chitto Rd, McCall Creek, MS 39647).
