He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Whittington and Eleanor Carraway Whittington; and his siblings, Billy Merle Young, James Lewis and Shirley Ray McKenzie.
He is survived by: his daughter Casey Whittington; his granddaughters, Victoria Loverchech and Anna Whittington; his great grandchild Lucette Payne; his niece Sherry Welch; his great-niece Hope Jordan; and his nephews, Nicholas Whittington and Terry Young. He is also survived by numerous grand nieces, nephews.
