He is survived by: his wife Joy Wells Laird of Smithdale; his children, Greg Laird (Suzanne) of Jackson, MS and Gina Laird Alford (Gary) of Lake Ozark, MO; his grandchildren, Megan Brown (Blake) and Will Laird; and his great grandchildren, Maddie Brown and Mary Blake Brown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
