He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Benton Evans and Mina Hagan Evans; his siblings, James Larkin Evans and Kathy Boyd; and his sister-in-law Lynda Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Evans; his sons, Tommy "Spook" Evans (Laura) and Todd Evans (Brandi); and his brothers, George Benton Evans, Robert "Bob" Evans (Jane) and Joseph L. "Joe" Evans (Gina). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
