He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Ray and Mary Bess Stallings; his daughter Beverly Raye; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Stallings and Billie Doris Thorn.
He is survived by: his significant other Nettie Stallings; his children, Bradley Allen Stallings (Susan), Michelle DeGerolamo and Jonathan Joiner; and his nephew Mike Stallings. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in his honor.
