He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Stroupe and Virginia Stroupe; his siblings, Vernon Stroupe and Bonnie Jordan; his wife Linda Stroupe; and his daughter Paula Tidwell.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandy Clement; his grandsons, Bryan Hughes and Jeffrey Tidwell; his great grandchildren, Jacob Hughes and Shelby Hughes; and his brother Billy Stroupe. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
