It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Herman Nicholas McCaleb of Southaven, Mississippi, who passed away on May 23, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merriman Bela and Grace Moore McCaleb; his wife Peggy Ann McCaleb; and his siblings, Naomi Waggoner, Pauline Stewart, Jean Bethshears, Georgia Price, Jim McCaleb, Betty Lou McNeil and Harrell McCaleb.

He is survived by: his son Matthew Bela McCaleb of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Morgan Paige Stubbs and Dakota Blake Woods; his son Benjamin Nicholas McCaleb (Angela McCaleb); and his grandchildren, Savannah Grace McCaleb, Benjamin Nicholas McCaleb Jr. and Trace Andrew McCaleb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to St.Jude or Shriner's Hospital for children in Shreveport, Lousianna, in his honor.
