She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert and Florence; her husband James Cook; and her sibling Jackie Carson. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Hughes and Paula Lowery (Brian). She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenbrook Baptist Church (8137 Greenbrook Pkwy, Southaven, MS 38671). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
