He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Rudolph and Ethel Lee Koelz (Acree); his wife Willie Mae Koelz; and his siblings, Acree Koelz, Wilhemina Koelz Doris, Mary Jane Koelz, Edward Koelz and James Koelz (Byron).
He is survived by: his children, Linda Douglas (Terry), Susan Hardy (John), Jennifer San Nicolas (Edwin) and John Lloyd Koelz, Jr. (Andrea); and his sister Ethelda Williams.
