He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gilbert and Murveen Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Janet Gilbert of Southaven, MS; his children, Mischa Parra (Christian) of Raleigh, NC and Joshua Gilbert (Casey) of Olive Branch, MS; his grandsons, Isaac Gilbert of Olive Branch, Lucas Gilbert of Olive Branch, Jude Gilbert of Olive Branch and Jacob Gurley of Nesbit, MS; his siblings, Patricia Holt of Omaha, NE and James Gilbert (Sharon) of Omaha, NE; and his aunt Donna Vanderput of Bird City, KS. He is also survived by three nephews and three nieces.
