We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2022, at the age of 86, Sylvia Martel Strickland (Southaven, Mississippi), born in Jacksonville, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Irving Roberts and Hazel Roberts; and her children, Gayle Bibisi (Eddie), Diane Stroupe (Butch), Tracy Strickland (Judy), Carol Van Dress and Glenda Coleman (Craig). She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Donations can be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
