It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert V. Frazier III of Starkville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Hicks and Albert V. Frazier, II. He is survived by: his sons, Albert Frazier (Bert), Jeff Rutherford (Becky) of Starkville and John Rutherford of Starkville; his grandchildren, Avery Frazier, Sebastian Rigdon (Tess) of Champaign, Noah Rutherford, Abby Rutherford and Gage Rutherford (Summer) of Starkville; his great grandchildren, Grayson Rigdon and Mila Jean Rutherford; and his significant other Debra Joel of Starkville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (201 W Lampkin St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Albert's name to Catch A Dream or to the Oktibbeha County Animal Shelter.
