She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Smith (Ray) of Normal, IL, Cossandra Evans of Dallas, GA, Sheila Riley, Brenda Evans (Sharp) of Starkville, MS, Willie Riley (Maurice) of Columbus, MS and Tommie Lee Evans of Starkville, MS; her aunt Lodina Peterson of Shreveport, LA; her uncle Jessie Lee Evans of Starkville, MS; her great-aunt Ruby Turner of St. Louis, MO; and her close friend Yolanda Bynum. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Memorial Funeral Home (103 Jefferson St, Starkville, MS 39759). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Blackjack Missionary Baptist Church (4907 Blackjack Rd, Starkville, MS 39759). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Fox Cemetery.
