He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Leopold and Jane Edith Leopold; and his grandparents, Fred, Thea Leopold, Harry and Lillian Scheetz.
He is survived by: his sister Sandra Jane Leopold; his sister-in-law Deborah Neeson; his cousins, Larry Griffiths, Linda Cook and Greta Leopold; and his close friends, Laura Andrews and Angela Hill. He is also survived by dogs.
Bruce also leaves behind a host of friends, colleagues, and former students, as well as his lifelong contributions to the field of natural resources.
