He was predeceased by: his parents, Chick Middleton and Maurice Middleton; and his sister Evelyn Middleton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harpole; his daughters, Donna Bahney, Cindy Carpenter and Candice Middleton; and his son-in-law William Bahney.

In lieu of flowers, if you would like to leave a lasting memorial, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund at 106 East Lampkin St., Starkville, MS 39759.
